Dolby Atmos is the new immersive music format available to hear on Apple Music, Tidal and Amazon Music.
Apple Spatial Audio takes Dolby Atmos content to another level. With features like head tracking technology (heard in AirPod 3, AirPod Pro & AirPod Max).
To mix to a professional standard in this format, it is best to use a Dolby Atmos mix room (with surround and height speakers) along with Apple and standard headphones for reference.
I have professional experience mixing music in this format within a dedicated Dolby Atmos mix room while referencing on AirPod headphones.
Currently I have mixed over 40 songs in this exciting format with more on the way!
